Our terms and conditions are valid in our chocolate selling webhops (www.darkchocolates.eu and www.etcsokibolt.hu).

We do not have a physical store our products are sold exclusively in our webshop.

Basic terms

Our terms and conditions are valid since 01.07.2018. and will be valid until revokation. Webshop owner has the right to change its terms and conditions unilaterally. Visitors and customers accept the terms and conditions by using our webshop.

Webshop owner has all copyright of the used content, images, articles, product information. Downloading, using of our webshop content is prohibited.

Our webshop sells chocolates, teas and related products. Product images may differ from ordered products.

In our webshop gross prices are displayed. We reserve the right to make mistakes.

Our products

Our products are sold exclusively online in our webshop. We display detailed information about products, their pictures, size, weight and other relevant information. Product pictures are only illustrations, real products may differ.

We do our best to display prices correctly, however we exlude any liability on issues created by mistyped or wrong prices.

Most of our products can be consumed by vegans and food allergic persons, however please consult the product datasheet and product maker if you have serious food allergy. We exclude liability any harm in our customer’s health caused by our products containing allergenes.

Using our webshop

User registration

Our customers must read and accept our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy also.

Customers must give their valid name and personal information during registration.

Webshop owner excludes liability of any fault in order processing when it is causd by invalid customer data. When order or personal data is erroneus we exclude any liability in any delay or loss of shipment or in order processing.

We exclude any liability when customers lost their password or password or personal data is shared with 3rd parties by customers.


In store products are shipped within 2 business days. However products not in store may be shipped within 2-3 weeks.

Our products can be purchased without registration (without creating a customer profile). However bonuses and other discounts are linked to registered cutomers.

Cutomers accept that they create payment obligation by submitting their orders.

Payment methods

We sell our products including Hungarian VAT (27%) in their price because of EU VAT rules.

Our customers can chose the following payment methods:

  • debit or credit card (via PayLike)
  • Bitcoin (BTC), Monero (XMR)
  • Cash on Delivery
  • AJI gift card

Shipment methods

We ship the ordered products via courier service within 2 business days. Currently we ship to Hungary, Romania and Slovakia. Expected delivery time: 2-3 business days. On backordered products delivery time can be 3-4 weeks.

Delivery is free for orders over 20,000 HUF (only in Hungary).

Cost of return packages must be paid by customer.

Order processing

Products are kept in cart for 1 hour. After successful order submission we send a confirmation e-mail confirming the order. We reserve the right to make changes in the order or order processing when there is an error in our system or some products are sold out.

We send our invoices in e-mail in electronic form.

Orders are processed on workdays.

Order cancellation

Customers are not permitted to cancel order that contain chocolate or any perishable food. However customers can cancel orders which only contains accessories. Customer must indicate the request (via phone or e-mail) to cancel the order within 8 business days. Customer must pay the shipment cost of the sent back products. Customer must send back the cancelled products within 14 business days.


The Service Provider guarantees the quality of the products it sells.

If the quality complaint against the product relates to the visible property of the product (eg external damage), the Customer is obliged to notify the Service Provider of the complaint at the same time as receiving the product. If the quality complaint against the product relates to the invisible properties of the product, the Customer may notify the Service Provider of the quality complaint within 3 business days from the receipt of the product.

If the ordered product is defective or damaged during delivery, the Service Provider will replace it free of charge.

If the Service Provider is unable to replace the defective product with the same product, the Service Provider may, depending on the Customer’s choice, replace the ordered product with another product, subsequently compensate the Customer or refund the purchase price to the Customer.

The Service Provider also informs the Customer that the products it sells may contain traces of gluten, soy, milk and sugar!


Comments, suggestions, complaints related to our products, services and webshop can be reported by our customers and visitors of our webshop at any of our contact days on working days between 10 am and 6 pm.

In addition, the Buyer has the opportunity to make a complaint on the online dispute resolution website operated by the European Commission.


This website is considered a copyright work, therefore it is prohibited to download (duplicate), re-transmit to the public, otherwise use, electronically store, process and sell the content appearing on the website without any written consent of the Service Provider.

Any material may be taken from the website and its database only with written consent, with reference to that website.

The Service Provider reserves all rights to all elements of its service, domain names and internet advertising spaces.

Privacy policy

The data management information of the web store is available on our Privacy page.

By using the web store, the visitor agrees that the web store places cookies in the browser in order to use the web store more conveniently.

Loyalty program

After each order of our registered customers, we credit 5 percent of the cart value to the Loyalty Point balance.

We reward you with 100 points for creating an account and 50 points for evaluating products.

The points collected can be used for future purchases. The redemption rate: 1 point = 1 HUF.
